Q: What types of devices can I use with your mobile app?
 

A: GoFormz works great with a variety of iOS and Android mobile devices using our native app for either platform. Because of the high number of device options available for purchase, it is impossible for us to test every device GoFormz may work with.  However we continue to test and verify operability with a number of newer models as they are released and provide that information here.

Please note that if a device is not on this list it doesn’t mean that GoFormz is not compatible, it only means that we haven’t tested that specific device.  We always recommend that end user testing is performed in your environment when possible, regardless of if your specific device is on this list or not.

Anniversary Update (1607) required; Fall Creators Update (1709) recommended

If your Windows 10 device is running version 1511 or older, you will not be able to install the application. Please ensure all Windows updates are installed before trying to download the GoFormz app.

Q: Do all users in my account need the same type of device?
 

A: No.  Within your account you can have a mix of phones, tablets or PC’s.


Q: Does the mobile app work offline without a data connection?
 

A: Yes, the GoFormz mobile app will work great whether your device has a current data connection or not.  As long as you can periodically connect to the internet to get updates and upload forms, you’re free to move in and out of coverage as needed.


Q: Can I be logged in to more than one device at the same time?
 

A: Each GoFormz user ID can be logged in to (1) mobile device, (1) tablet, and the user’s web account at the same time.


Q: Do I need to logout and then back in to get updates within my account?
 

A: No. As long as your mobile device has a solid data connection and the app is either open or running in the background, all forms and templates will automatically synchronize between your web account and your mobile devices.  However with any new templates added, the background will need to be downloaded to the device before Form View can be used.  This download is done by simply clicking on the template.  Once downloaded the background will remain on the device and available both on and offline until the user logs out of their GoFormz account.  Once logged out, all backgrounds will need to be re-downloaded to be available.


Q: Can I access the address book on my device for email?
 

A: You sure can.  Once you have a completed form and are ready to email, simply start typing within the email address field using either the recipient’s first name or their email address and you will be presented with a list of options based on the characters you have entered.  When you see the option you’re looking for, just tap on the preferred selection.
