Mobile App Login Error: User ID Currently In Use

If you get the following error message when logging in, you are likely at your limit of devices that can be logged in to each user. Every user in GoFormz is allowed to simultaneously log in to one tablet and one phone at any given time. If you recently got a new device, or if you reinstalled the GoFormz app. you may see this message when trying to log back in:



Note: You can only log a device out if you are an admin in your account. If you are not an admin, please contact the owner of your account to get this done for you.

Log in to the GoFormz website and click your username in the top right corner of the page. The account management dropdown menu will appear:



Click on Users & Groups. This will bring you to a page with a list of user and groups within your account.

Hint: You may need to navigate to another page if you feel like a user or group is not showing up.

Go ahead and locate the group and click on the name of the group to open it. You can then find the user and click on their name. This will bring you to their account profile. Find the Connected Devices section as shown here:



Identify which type of device you need to log out to free up the profile. For example, if you got a new phone and there is a phone under Connected Devices, you need to log the old phone out. When you click logout, you will see this prompt:



If you are sure the old device does not have any unsynced data on it, go ahead and click Yes. Once done, the profile will be free to log in to the new device.
