Creating a New Form from a Template

Last Updated: Jul 08, 2016 11:10AM PDT

Filling out a form starts by creating a new form based on an existing template. For instance, your GoFormz account might have two form templates -- Work Orders and Safety Checklists. When creating a new form, you have to choose which of these two templates you want to use.

To create a new form in the mobile app, navigate to the Templates Tab and tap on a template image to create a new form based on that template (this can also be done from the Recently Used Templates section of the Dashboard). The new form will be opened in the Mobile Form Editor, where you can fill it out.

In the web interface, there are several ways to create a new form:

  • In the Forms Tab, click the New button in the upper right. Choose your template from the template chooser window, and click Select to create a new form from that template.
  • In the Web Form Editor, select New Form from the Form dropdown menu at the top. Choose your template from the template chooser window, and click Select to create a new form from that template.
